It’s fun to see a typography blog delve into the realm of street art. Typography Daily recently published an article about Ripo in regards to his use of typography in designing his murals. I must admit I like to see graffiti mimmic type sometimes.
Artists see the world through different eyes. We find opportunities in the mundane. Or, maybe, we just like to draw faces in Honey Mustard Sauce.
This is just a sample of some of the paintings I’ve done. My favorite mediums are acrylic, ink, and spray paint.
I love poster art, I love music, I love screen-printing. MMM combines my love for these things in a way that no one else does. Check out his work here.

A few weeks ago, Chuck from 10th Avenue Productions asked me if I’d be interested in putting in a bid for a website redesign. Their client, the Southwest Center for Law and Policy, was considering a website redesign and Chuck asked a few designers to shoot him some mockups. With the mockup that SWCLAP chose, 10th Ave Productions would decide who to bring in on the project as designer. They liked mine best and now I get to be part of an ongoing freelance project. Here is my original mockup, I’ll keep you posted.
Every designer dreams of owning and operating their own design agency. Naturally, as a designer, it’s also fun to dream up logos.
I created this a little while ago. I’m not sure which one I like best but I’m leaning towards the font in the top three.
